An update for the current Public Beta dedicated server is now available.
(2.7.0a -> 2.7.0b) - Fixed InterfaceText/Image having incorrect XY coordinates - Fixed Fixed InterfaceImage not drawing - Added InServerMenu parameter to InterfaceImage. Woops! - Fixed "Wrong Map Version" not working. Double woops! - Fixed bots can no longer be added to DM "team" in team based game modes - Fixed Portal Server connection not using bound IP address - Fixed server admin port not working while server daemonized - Fixed new polygon types to match the client change MAPS: - ctf_Laos - fps fixed, huts removed - ctf_Division - removed grass in the background - ctf_Guardian - fixed polybugs - ctf_Ruins - fps fixed, changed floor under flag - ctf_Viet - fps fixed, changed colors and medis/nades - ctf_Coolbya - new map under consideration
NOTE: Due to changes to the default maps, this server is for client 1.5.1b (1.5.1.8) and will not work with any beta client under version 1.5.1.8.

Also, beta participation has slowly reduced over the past two weeks. I really need people to continue actively testing and keeping up to date with the auto updater (Which a lot of people seem to be ignoring). The Portal server peak reached a maximum of around 60 people online at the same time, whilst there has been over 2,000 unique accounts created on the Portal. Everyone needs to keep testing and playing as much as possible, it is vital to prevent any major issue when 1.5.1 becomes officially released. So yeah the Portal server can handle 60 active players…. But how will it go with Soldat’s peak of 1,300 active players? Let’s not wait until release day to find out…


sweet. Missed this with all the exams and stuff going on though <.< This isnt the perfect time for beta imo =( Will do some scriptcore testing after im done with the uni torture, but it might be too late then..
